About the Project
Zuri is privileged to be involved in a significant project aimed at improving education in Lindi. The government has recently constructed a new school in the area, and 300 children are eagerly waiting to start their educational journey. However, the challenging terrain, long distances, and frequent elephant attacks have made it difficult for teachers to commute to the school regularly. This has created a significant barrier to consistent education for the children, who are in dire need of stable and reliable teaching staff.
In response to this pressing issue, Zuri has taken the initiative to build a residence for the teachers near the school. By providing accommodation close to the school, Zuri aims to ensure that teachers can attend classes regularly without the fear of dangerous commutes. This initiative not only addresses the immediate safety concerns but also fosters a more conducive learning environment for the children. With teachers residing nearby, the school can function more effectively, and the students can benefit from uninterrupted education, paving the way for a brighter future for the community.
